Fitment is a 8.5/10, the gasket is a little funky around the spark plug surfaces but fits great otherwiseI haven’t installed it yet but I see no reason why it wouldn’t work perfect*97 miata w/ 1.8

Put this on my 99 miata after a timing belt job and it has done a horrible job. I have a huge leak on the back side of the cover and the gasket is also ripping apart. I confirmed this when I took it off and checked it. Would not recommend this product to anyone.

good gasket, be careful on install - use gasket sealant in the corners - on the Miata in particular, the back part of the gasket will roll in and break (experience) if you don't use sealant because it wall fall out in the back at last second, and you can't see it fall out, and then it will leak - not gasket's fault. if you install it right, it will do its job well.

Does its job, I used a tiny bit of rtv by the cam cap corners and followed the torque order and torque specs and torqued in increments and it seals perfectly. Bad overall reviews may be due to people just giving it 1 ugga dugga.
