This is an awesome guitar at a great price. I usually go American made but the deal was too good to pass up. This plays amazingly well and the craftsmanship of this guitar is great. They have really stepped up their game. Great guitar and fast delivery.

Just sent back a buttercream Strat and this Telecaster is awesome. Great guitar for the money. Thank you Fender. Now why did you not get the the Strats a bit better?

I don’t know if I’m being too picky or what but I’m disappointed in the quality control of my new Players Series Telecaster. First off the packaging is bare minimum, especially for traveling across North America. The neck has a big knot in the maple, that I can’t help but stare at. The biggest issue for me is the top of the stripe on the back of the neck has a void at the top. It’s bad enough that I can feel it with my hand. I’m not sure I can look past these blemishes on a brand new $720+ guitar. Too bad...

The pickups are 1950s good. The fit and finish are great at this price point. The Ferro fretboard is smooth as silk. All telecasters will have some static issues. Check solder joints and use a dryer sheet, cut back on gain and this guitar will last a lifetime. Have fun with it.It is meant to be played hard. This telecaster is a workhorse. Play it long and hard. Great value.
