The Good: It’s a Ukulele. Simple build. Good sound. Plenty of Necessities to get you started. Looks cool I love the telecaster style head The Bad: I have never seen a fret board so dry and in need of a good wipe down and oil. The fret wire ends are sharp and overhang the fret board - not good - very uncomfortable on the hand and legitimately frustrating to play right out of the box. I’ll keep it and I will fix it, but I would not recommend this for someone that doesn’t have experience working on guitars.

I don’t like this one at all. The Donnor Soprano is much much better and less expensive!

It's been a year of my daughter using this bad boy and she still loves it! Great sound, and perfect pricing for a beginner. Still going strong a year later :)

This is a beautiful instrument. I was actually shocked when I unboxed it and slid my hand up and down the neck. The Frets are brutal on the ends. There is binding around the body and neck. I have just never bought an instrument and found such jagged edges on the frets. I have heard of this but not on a FENDER. I will confer with a luthier about cleaning these up. That was the only issue with this...the Seaside Fender Ukelele.

Thought it would be a little nicer “FENDER” quality. You get what you pay for I guess.

This ukulele is beautifully crafted and comes with all the essentials for starting out on the ukulele. Being a soprano ukulele, it is on the smaller side and is perfect for kids new to the instrument. We also have a concert ukulele which is noticeably bigger. My wife has been teaching my daughters (my wife on the concert and my daughters on the soprano). After the typical week or two of breaking in, the strings have been holding their tune well. The included tuner is high quality and very easy to use. The display is color coded to let you know when you are tuned. The stand, case, and strap are also well made and function as expected. None of them are amazing, but are great for a beginner set.The set also includes picks, spare strings, and free lessons. We have not tried the lessons yet, but we may start using them for my daughters. It is nice to know that we can use them when needed. The price is good for a mahogany and walnut ukulele with all the included accessories. It is a great buy for a kid or small adult looking to learn the ukulele.

Made in China by Fender this is a good basic budget-friendly Ukulele kit with everything being of good quality—none of the components look or feel junky. The set includes a lightweight matte finish mahogany soprano instrument with a walnut fingerboard, and metal gear-driven tuning keys. While playing there is no buzzing from the strings which indicates the neck is in alignment and the ukulele has a nice tone.It arrives with one set of nylon strings already installed (needing to be tuned) and like all nylon strings when first installed they will need to be tuned more frequently because they stretch until they settle in which is usually within a few days. The included clip-on electronic tuning device, which also works with other string instruments, is very helpful in making the process quick, easy and precise.Other provided components are a collapsible all metal stand with cushion foam contact points where the ukulele rests, 5 picks with the Fender logo, adjustable nylon web lanyard-style strap that fits an adult or child, sturdy black fabric zippered gig bag with adjustable nylon web strap and embroidered with the Fender logo, a card with a code for 3 months of free on-line lessons, and an extra set of strings. The only thing missing is some music. Very nice.

You get what you pay for. This is an inexpensive ukulele from a reputable brand. I wasn’t expect a concert quality instrument, and neither should you, instead I received a quality beginner’s ukulele built to stay within my skill set over the next couple years.I thoroughly enjoy playing it, and you will too.
