We're getting into DIY soda, and we haven't decided to refill cylinders, or directly inject into 2 liter soda bottles. I got this in case we decide to go directly into 2 liter bottles. As you can see in the photos, the threads are made to fit plastic soda bottles. I didn't have a 2 liter with me, but it fit perfectly on my 20oz bottle. Whether they're 20oz or 2 liters, they have the same cap size and thread. You get two of them and four washers. 5-Stars.

This product is intended to help with the carbonation of drinks inside a used soda bottle. Carbon dioxide gas is fed into the bottle from a pressurized tank and the carbonated beverage can be dispensed through a connected faucet – all without having to remove the cap.I needed a device like this for some other project I was working on – generating carbon dioxide in a soda bottle by mixing solutions of acid and bicarbonate. One reagent was placed in the sealed bottle and the other fed through a port on one of these tee-pieces into that bottle. The pressurized gas was delivered externally through the other port. These tee-pieces worked really well for this project – they held pressure and didn’t leak. Keg gas connectors are needed to make the external connections – these are easy to use and are readily available in a color and build matching these tee-pieces.For a pack of 2, the current price of $10.69 seems to be reasonable.
