Usually a part like this would cost an arm and a leg at the dealer. This was under $20 and the whole repair took like 15 minutes. So happy!!

Replaced the latch in our 2016 Hyundai Elantra, the original one had a part inside crack and prevented the truck from opening, this only took about 5 minutes to install and now the trunk works perfectly again. Only thing to note is if yours has an alarm in the car, you will set off the alarm as soon as you plug the harness into the latch, even it the doors are unlock, just be ready to press the unlock button on the remote.

I have a 2016 Hyundai Elantra and a couple weeks ago the trunk wouldn't close. After pulling up a You Tube video to see what replacing the Actuator would involve, well, it took no more than 15 minutes to take the trunk liner out and connect 2 connections and pop the liner back in. It's been a week and it still closes and the inside release works now too. For the price, it's worth it. It saved me from spending, probably a couple hundred bucks, at the dealer.

This fit my 2015 Hyundai Elantra perfectly. It’s very easy to install. There is a youtube video that shows you how. Now the latch works and I fixed it for 19.00$, way nice!!! A garage would have charged out the yingyang and probably had taken longer to get the part. If your Elantra latch is inoperable, get this part. It’s the one. Shipped in my case next day!!!
