1st unit was "damaged" in shipping and never arrived. 2nd unit came in horribly damaged packaging but no damage to product. Works as expected and should last a lifetime.

I go through harrows like candy because my “roads” are gravel sand and rock. This is my first one of this brand. Assembly is basic - attach drawbar and chain. The drawbar is a two piece tube rather than a piece of iron that I am used to so I am curious if that will make a difference on durability. The teeth and chain are solid steel. It has enough weight to dig in and make an aggressive cut. Arrived flat in a wooden crate so it’s a big package shipped by FedEx Freight large semi so had to meet up to get it. Five stars, two thumbs up and a tip of the hat.

There are many versions of these things on Amazon and after inspecting all the offerings I chose this one based mostly on the pull-chain and attachment ring even though I fully expected to be disappointed. However, this item may be one of the most functionally perfect and useful items I have purchased online. It arrived quickly and I’ve used it to totally prep and maintain over a mile of heavily wooded hiking trail by pulling it behind a Toro/Wheelhorse 520xi with turf tires and wheel chains. After three weeks of heavy use I’ve determined that three passes with this beast will prep a brand new hiking trail for final raking and one pass every few weeks is all it takes to perfectly maintain the trail and keep it free from weeds, leaves, and fallen branches. Furthermore, it’s heavy duty and tough enough that I can just leave it in the woods between uses. I have rarely been this satisfied with an implement. Huge value for the money.

Only have used it once but I like how it is in two sections. Using just one section for small spaces works great, used it to level and pull up dead grass and roots in a new garden space and also to level out an area to setup an above ground pool for grandson. Since I am an older woman, it makes it easier to handle.

I have 5 acres, including 2 acres of pasture, multiple yards, and a long gravel driveway. Everything is in rough shape with bumps, high and low spots, mounds, etc. I bought this primarily to drag the pasture and knock down mole hills and manure piles, but was curious what else I might do with it. I have an 18 HP garden tractor, which didn't have any problem pulling it. I have been using the harrow for a few weeks and have taken it through it's paces. Some things it does great, some things ok, somethings not very well (see below). Overall I'm very pleased. It's the right size, is well made and durable. The only construction criticism I have is that the harrow itself is two sections and the hooks can come loose if you try and make too tight a turn.What does is do well?- knock down manure and mole hills. This worked really well with the tines turned down. better than expected.- refresh gravel drive. I was surprised how well this worked. several passes with the tines down and then a pass with them up and the driveway looked great. The exception is anywhere grass was growing. It won't pull that up.- dethatch lawns. This wasn't on my radar, but with the tines down, one pass pulled out dead grass and didn't seem to damage healthy grass.What does it do ok?- smooth rough ground. My pastures are bumpy, my lawns are bumpy, and I have a path that was really bumpy from when the horses were in mud. My hope was that the harrow would take care of those. It seems like it will, but not quickly. I took several passes at the path and it's better for sure but will need more work. I went over one part of the pasture several times and again it's better but still needs work. Over time, I think the harrow will solve the bumpiness, but it won't be fast. Using a box scraper or blade would probably work better. It would also help if I'd done this when the ground was softer.What doesn't it do?- I have a lot of dips and high spots. The harrow is not going to help that. It will make them smooth over time but not change the height significantly. For that, I'll need a box scraper or blade.Overall, this is a great tool and I'm glad I bought it before other attachments. It smooths but doesn't level. It is not too aggressive for lawns but is aggressive enough to do the job.

Definately recommend this harrow. It is made of heavy duty steel and does a great job being towed behind my ATV. It tows easily. The product exceeded my expectations!

I am extremely happy with this harrow. It is heavy and tough. A neighbor was so impressed with what it did to my lot that he asked to borrow it and I had no reservations about lending it to him because I knew he could not break it.I am clearing and adjacent lot and this also acts like a rake, dragging brush and branches. If I set the brake on the quad and lift the harrow to the side, I am left with a small pile of debris which is easy to pick up. Be aware that this product weighs close to 100 pounds and you can hurt yourself lifting the whole thing.The product came in three pieces: The tow bar and chain, and two drag sections. It was nicely boxed in a wooden crate.
