Handle works like it should and shuts off. Only issue and reason for 4 stars is it leaks after you hang it up. Bought a 3/4" ball valve and put it before the nozzle and shut the valve when I'm done. No more leaks but it would be nice if the handle did seal and didn't leak.

I got this to replace the manual nozzle on the transfer pump in my truck. Now I don’t have to listen for the gurgling in the tank to know when my pickup tank is full or worry about it overflowing.

Nozzle works well and the auto cut-off feature also worked well. Good replacement for my ancient diesel nozzle. - UPDATED REVIEW. THE DAY AFTER I WROTE THE ORIGINAL REVIEW I TRIED TO USE THE NOZZLE FOR ONLY THE SECOND TIME AND IT WON'T WORK AT ALL!!! I WOULD AVOID THIS BRAND. WISH I'D KEPT THE OLD ONE, LEAKS AND ALL.

Says in the picture right on the box in the listing, but these were redesigned with cheaper materials and now made in china after fill-rite got bought out in mid-2022. I thought all they made was still good quality until I got this and realized how bad it was. I then noticed the box said made in china (as listing photo now does, if you look closely). So long industry standard quality, hello "profit driven" decision making (false economy here).

Replaced the nozzle that came with the pump with this. The auto cut off works great and stops fuel spills that used to happen with the old nozzle.

Per the manufacturer sheet, my fuel pump puts out 6 gallons per minute. I guess that’s not enough to make this nozzle auto stop. I spent a lot of time fueling my tractors, and was hoping I could set this up and walk away to do more work, letting it stop on its own, but that is not the case in my situation. At least it does have a lock on it so I don’t have to hold the handle down the whole time it is filling.
