One piece didn't fit correctly I had to use a hand saw to make it work. Every top piece of the rack is cracked and damaged from how they machined it. Look elsewhere.

Ordered this for use by the back door in our living room where we have since used it more as a display item and less as a coat rack. The item arrived well boxed and contained almost everything needed get it set up and installed. And assembly is definitely required. That assembly didn't take me too long with only one section requiring an extra pair of hands. The rack looks great once it is put together and everything, like the 360º spinning base, works well. I have some small handmade décor items on the inner shelves and it has been a great way to display them. Overall we've been happy with this spinning coat rack and it fits in nicely with the rest of our décor....

My old coat rack only had hooks and I used a basket on the floor to hold small items like hats and gloves. This solved that messy problem. I keep hats and gloves on the shelves along with my flashlights for those late night dog walks. The spinning action is really good for a tight space so you can use all the hooks for multiple coats.
