This is a great coat rack that can hold many coats and sweaters and umbrellas. It is easy to understand the instructions and put together. It is sturdy and does not fall. It looks elegant and goes well in a corner. It functions as pictured and is priced ok. It does have a lot of hooks for scarves and hats as well.

Easy to build and nice elegant design, with the rainy season fast approaching, I purchased it to elevate the wet umbrellas off the floor as they dried! This did the trick! Perfectly

Loved my coat rack looks nice in my entry way. Has plenty of hooks to hang your coats , hats with a place for your umbrella also.

Reviewing: FILWH Coat Rack Freestanding with Umbrella Stand Coat Rack Stand with 12 Hooks MetalI like this coat rack so far. The size is good, at 71.5" tall but also small enough to fit into a corner, at a little over 18" in diameter. There are technically 16 hooks to hang things from.As long as you align the hooks with the legs, it's pretty stable. I put 4 coats, a light jacket, 4 scarves, and a bag on it and it stayed upright.There are a lot of parts here. You will be assembling the rack entirely. You are given a lot of screws with a hex wrench, small screw-in "feet", and plastic buttons that you push into all the unfinished ends. I can handle all this -- as long as it goes smoothly. And it didn't.Most of the holes accepted the screws fine. But there were a few that gave me trouble, and one in particular that I spent a stupid half-hour on. I just could not get it to accept the screw. I had to remove the whole piece, put it back on, try minutely different angles for the screw, try different screws, try putting in the other screw in part way then all the way....I tried every permutation to get this one g.d. screw in and finally it decided to end my misery and accept it. It is during these moments the $40 for the rack goes from "fair price" to "this piece is trash and not worth $5". No one wants to wrestle with something like this. I docked a star for this difficulty.A helpful tip: When you're attaching something with more than one screw -- especially the base pieces -- don't tighten any of them until you have them all in part way. This will help you more easily align all the holes.I took another star off because I have had something with this kind of powder coated metal and it got a little wet and rust because there was a small scratch in the coating. I want to further test this with wet umbrellas to make sure it doesn't end up a big rusted mess. If it passes the tests then I'll come back and give it another star.

This coat rack is great but does require some assembly. It's worth it though, it holds a lot of coats, sweatshirts, hats, umbrellas, and gloves. They include an extra piece of most hardware in case you lose or break something which is a nice touch. My first unit was missing the insert in one of the legs that the foot screwed into. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent me out a new one that I could use and it worked perfectly. Very quick and no hassles at all. My wife put it together in about 10 minutes and I tightened it up at the end. Be careful not to over tighten though.We are using this by the back door for all the extra layers needed to take the puppy out on walks or to play in the backyard. It is very functional and looks great. I was impressed by how sturdy it really was when put together and how much it could hold. This is my first coat rack, and I feel like I have reached some sort of new level of adulthood or something. Can AARP be very far behind? Oh My!!! This is a very good product that I will use often.
