Installed in February, only lasted until September. Rarely used as it’s a rear door window. Woke up this morning and the window was down.

This product failed after barely one year. The twine became entangled, but the motor still seemed to work.

This was the perfect replacement part for my 05 MDX, which had a failed rear drivers side window and even my local shop quoted $500 or so to repair. Their OEM part was going to cost $200, and I couldn’t afford any of that, so I bought this and replaced it myself saving $450!One piece of advice: take time to learn the correct way to disassemble and remove the door panel before you start. It’s worth taking the extra time to learn where all of the tabs and screws are and how to remove them without breaking them. I learned on YouTube, but it took a bit to find the right vide for my model vehicle…
