Upon inspection of the lathe tools I found that they look real good. I have not had time to try them out and it would be unfair to rate them until I try them . So far they look good but until I try them it would be unfair to rate them

For that they work well but for softer almost rubber compounds they just dig but they aren’t meant for that. Can’t say how well they work on metal yet.

These holders are good, but the carbide inserts these come with are mediocre at best. If you look at them wrong they chip. I ordered replacement carbide with them, and those inserts are doing fine, so i'm fairly certain these inserts are just bad.
