I first placed a test bar in a clean MT2 lathe spindle and DTI showed .001 deviation. Placed these collets in spindle and found .01 to .008 deviation. Tooling placed in these collets visibly wobbles and creates a very inaccurate condition and uneven tool wear or possible tool breakage. Exchangeed 1st set and 2nd set was the same condition.

I'm currently only using the 3/8" collet but it works well. No complaints.

this product came packaged well from vendor. each collet was inavisualy wrapped with rust prevention. the use of them in my mini mill worked great.
