- Fingerprint Deletion:
- Press and hold the reset button (in the hold on the side of the lock case) for 4 seconds, there will be 4 beeps, and then release the button. All fingerprints on database will be deleted. (Reminder: For security, delete all fingerprints before any registrations.)
- Password Setup:
- The original password is “1234”. Press and hold “*” for 2 seconds, then enter the previous password and press “#”. After a beep, enter a new password with no more than 10 digits and press “#”. The new password will be valid after 2 beeps.

- Please set the administrator fingerprint first.

These things are cool but I'm not sure what you do if it stops working or if the batteries die. It comes with a digital key not a regular key so if it don't have power you are gonna have to break in. I guess we shall see

I use this on my pantry door to stop my autistic son from going in the pantry and eating at anytime as he has to be monitored. It allows me to put away anything he can not, or should not eat. I also keep medication locked up so less worrying.I love the key aspect. When someone comes to stay with him overnight they still have access to the food without me having to program their information in to the unit.Easy to use and install. Battery lasts a long time! I would recommend this product.

I think there's a lot of engineering that went into this little gadget that most folks might not appreciate; i built the cabinet i planned to install this on and found it very conducive to my project. There are some gaps in its design for sure, but for the price im really impressed so far.The fingerprint works better than most other locks I've had experience with. The fact that any currently authorized user can add another is great for my application. If the batteries die it automatically unlocks, and the mechanism is on a sort of oscillating spring, meaning if the latch catches when it dies, you just have to put a little pressure on the drawer to ease the tension and let the spring pull back the latch, mitigating any fears of not being able to get into the drawer without destroying the cabinet.The gaps are where you have to factory reset it to remove a fingerprint but that's trivial when only a handful of people would need access anyways. The keypad and fingerprint reader are solid built but the interior latch is where it starts to fail. The metal jamb plate needs sanded or grinded down about 1/32 of an inch to properly receive the latch if it's installed flush to the face of the drawer. That plate also prevents a perfectly flush fit from the whole interior latch box against it as the screws stick out about 1/8 inch, id be less worried about someone being able to force the drawer open it if was a perfect fit, all that would take is redesigning the metal jamb plate or fabricating a new one. The latch itself is plastic shrouded by aluminum, and it feels very lightweight and flimsy. The curve of the latch also prevents a smooth drawer closing. The programming instructions can be difficult to follow until you get the hang of it.Would still buy again.

We have had this installed for about 6 months now. The installation wasn't the easiest and I created a hole in the cabinet that wasn't aligned correctly (while using the guide). Once it was done correct, it worked great. As of now, the fingerprint pad no longer recognizes any fingerprints, but the numbers still work good. Easily secures the cabinet door

مواد الصنع جيدة و يبدو فاخر و به الكثير من المزايا مثل الفتح بفلاشة مرفقة او بصمة او رقم سري و الغلق الذاتي او بزر الشباك او بالبصمة او عدم الغلق الذاتي. التركيب ليس سهل و يحتاج تخرم ٣ فتحات. فهم طريقة التشغيل و تسجيل البصمة و تغيير الرقم السري يحتاج وقت كبير للفهم. يوجد خطأ في كتابة طريقة تسجيل البصمة بالكتالوج. اقترح عمل فيديو يشرح التركيب و التشغيل. لاحظ ان منه شكلين افقي و رأسي حسب خطتك في وضعه اشتريت منه اثنان و حتى الأن ممتاز..

bought this to replace the lock on my new file cabinet and i have to say i am really impressed by the simple instruction on how to replace out the old lock on my cabinet. after putting in the battery the lock works flawlessly. usb key is also a plus as well. it comes with a different orientation version as well. highly recommend.

Fingerprint reader will not exit programming mode. Instructions to program are unclear. Unlocks with either any warm touch or nothing at all despite following the programming instructions to the letter. Factory Reset doesn't work, either maintains fingerprints or goes back to the open with any warm touch.

Was able to setup with a help of a video online but before I installed it ceased up and would not open.UPDATE:RETURNING second horizontal lock. It recognizes print when it wants to. I tried for an hour. What would happen is I would tap it (turns blue) which is normal then it turns green which is also normal but then doesn't open up. Stay away.
