This fire extinguisher cabinet is really nice. It is well made and heavy duty. I got this for a 10 lb extinguisher for the garage and it looks and works well. Easily identifiable and near the door for easy access and very obvious where it is located. This cabinet has an alarm on it to sound when the door is opened and it is pretty loud. I have it disabled since I am using this is a residential setting for my own place.

Decided to order this after the fire marshal stopped by our farm stand and said we needed a fire extinguisher to be compliant. The extinguisher needed to be easily accessible. Problem solved; this cabinet arrived quickly after ordering and looked great right out of the box. It came with every needed to install. One feature that is nice is there is an alarm that will sound if the cabinet is opened, alerting others of danger. Overall the cabinet looks like a well made, quality product and best of all it looks good on the wall so we didn’t have to sacrifice aesthetics for necessity. I would recommend this to others.

I ordered this cabinet for our shop, so there is no problem finding the fire extinguisher if needed. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the cabinet itself - very well-made, thick metal, perfect fit and finish all around. Graphics on the sides are also well-done with clean and clear lettering and graphics screened onto the metal. Door works great, takes a little effort to open, as it has a magnetic clasp. The alarm is pretty loud, and the LED light at the top flashes red. Easy to turn on/off, battery operated.I do have a few concerns with this unit. First, the lock/key is pretty cheapy compared to the nice cabinet. And it’s not easy to get the key in the lock just right to unlock. You’d want that to be super simple and fast to use in an emergency. Also, I think the cabinet should be a little deeper to fit a standard 10 lb fire extinguisher - with the lip (which is a good feature), there is barely 5” versus 5 1/8” diameter on standard extinguisher. It would also be great to have a simple strap with quick release to secure the fire extinguisher inside the cabinet - or at least a couple of slots in the back of the cabinet to add your own strap.
