This review is of the Firefield Barrage 1.5-5x32 Riflescope with Red Laser. The first scope I ordered was all good except the Red Laser worked intermittently. The scope itself was fine. I wanted the red laser dialed into the Mil-Spec crosshairs of the scope after dialing in with a bore-sighter. After replacing the first scope, here’s a review of the second. The Red Laser works great; the only problem is that where the laser housing attaches to the scope, under theMagnification Ring, is loose & as far as I can tell, cannot be tightened. This was not the case with the first scope. The red laser on the second scope does stay “on”, however turning the Red/Green Illumination Ring also moves the laser mount & therefore the aiming point of the red dot. The second scope I received did not come with a cleaning cloth & also the washer & lock washer was missing on the picatinny mount tightening knob. The windage & elevation caps on the second scope were so tight I had to use pliers to loosen them. The red & green 5 illumination settings, scope magnification and focus was good on both scopes. I wish I could combine the positives of both scopes red lasers into one.I’m undecided if I’ll keep the second Barrage scope. No more than I plan on using the rifle it’s probably fine. I’m sorry I can’t recommend this scope. I’d suggest spending a little more for something better.

Reticle lights up in both red and green. Magnifier works; however battery in laser sight was dead.

The scope looks OK and looks rugged and I like the Black reticle, BUT when you turn the reticle illumination on it lights up the entire inside of the scope, not just the reticle. I will give it a try because I am not planning on using the lighted reticle but this is just an extremely poor design.

Ich habe bisher nur ein Robin Hood geschossen, Mit Pfeil und Bogen.Vielleicht gelingt es mir mit meiner Armbrust und den Ziel Fernrohr, nochmals einen Robin Hood zu schießen.Super Ziel Fernrohr sollte mir eigentlich gelingen.

Very good especially considering the price. I had it mounted on a larger rifle as well as a smaller one, and it holds a zero perfectly on both. The eye relief is very good, and is easily adjustable.

Mounted on a AR style rifle and held up for 150 rounds..To Mount the scope, you need a very wide slotted key to mount the scope and there's only one screw to tighten.. illumination is ok but I don't need it it transmits light

MIL reticle is repeatable at any specific indicated magnification. However, even though the zoom range appears consistent at 4:1 the actual magnification of one sample I own is about 30% lower than the other. I would estimate the one sample to be 2-8 magnification while the other might be closer to 2.75-11 magnification. The two samples bought the same day have different ocular objective assemblies but both are reasonable for my purposes.Elevation and Windage are 1/2" per click at 100 yards so that works out to about 7 clicks per MIL.Red Green illuminated reticle reflects off of inside of tube so you probably will use reticle illumination sparingly.Reticle is crisp and clean after adjusting the ocular diopter adjustment. There is no parallax adjustment so expect difficulty if you combine high magnification and close range. Parallax appears to be set around 100 yards or meters. The Objective lens has a sloped shade and no Lens covers were provided. That could be an issue for some.Mounts to a standard Weaver or Picatinny Rail.Red Laser model uses two AG13 batteries or a single 1/3N, Green Laser use CR2, both models claim 16-hour laser battery life.Reticle illumination is CR2032 claiming 100 hours. The bullet drop compensator has settings for a .223 so on a .22LR or a 9mm carbine expect the 2, 3, 4, and 5 to each add closer to 30 or so yards to your 100 yard zero from position 1.Best to set it on low magnification and the compensator on position 1 for reflexive situations and zoom to higher magnification or adjust elevation only when expecting or experiencing distant or less time critical targets.Would buy again if in the market and at the $70-80 price point. Actually, I own two at 2.5-10x40 and one at 1.5-5x32. Would I take it into battle? Only if better options were not available. It is a great low-priced option for a farm gun, but I can afford better when my life depends on it.
