Keeps fires in and four legged pets out of the chimney. 10/10 success rate. Do enjoy the tools tucked along the sides to keeps from taking up space on the fireplace

This gate was a perfect fit for our outdoor fireplace. I only took one star off because it started rusting right away around the hinges and screws and even a couple of the tools were rusting. Keep in mind I live in Arizona where it's very dry and we don't get much rain. I ended up spray painting over those areas and then covering them in a rust inhibitor spray to protect it in the future. Otherwise it's sturdy and beautiful!

This is a nice screen. Stable. A bit more expensive than I prefer but it's a good screen and comes with fireplace tools.
