Knife seems to be good quality and very sharp, cleaning mat is large for most fish and good quality, descaler seems to be for large fish, sharpener is OK but I have better sharpeners so won't use this one. Price was very good for the kit.

Purchased to clean and fillet catfish which as we all know get real slippery and hard to hold. The mat did not disappoint. Was easy to clean. The knife came sharp but dulled quickly as I progressed and the included sharpener did not help.

This is a wonderful fish cleaning take with you anywhere table, I bought it for cleaning kokanee and it works great, knife is not of good quality but is functional....

I bought this as a gift for my avid fisherman hubby & he throughly enjoys it. The rubber mat makes me happy as it keeps my counters clean from fish goo & it's a sturdy mat that doesn't move or slide while in use. The knife is also very sharp & works well. Overall, I'm pretty pleased.

The mat appears thick and sturdy enough.Appreciated that the package came with the fillet knife and other useful gadgets.Would have liked it to include a plastic container for storage.Will be excited to put it to use on our fishing expedition this summer.

If there were more stars I would give it to them. Big bang for the buck. I am a big time fisherman and cleaning lots of large halibut all the time. Saw this and figured what the heck good price and all the goodies. Turns out the mat is perfect & the knife which I just purchased that is top of the line I will not use because their knife is better and the sharpening stone that comes with it sharpened it big time to extra sharp. The give you a scaler which is better to hold the skin while removing the meat than a scaler. I was so impresssed with this set that I sent the link to 20 friends and 10 of them immediatly bought one. I decided to buy another one for me for my home and the other was for my boat and it was missing the sharpener when I received it. My wife emailed them on a Saturday night and 1 hour later they responded & made it right. I recieved it the next day. Unbelievable, You won't be disappointed with this product.
