Rarely do I leave reviews. But after several uses I felt I had no choice but to tell you all how great this is. I will start by saying it's paid for itself over and over. $5 to $25 a lure. I've owned several different lure knockers/retrievers and this one hands down has been the best. The chains have worked 9/10 grabbing the hooks. Yesterday I was able to pull up 20lbs worth of tree trunk wrapped up with 30 feet of fishing line and several other branches. In the past I've had little to no success even with chains. The weekend before I was able to use this to grab the lure and the hooks on the crankbait bent and twisted out of the structure and came up just fine. I would rsther replace a hook than the lure. If I had 1 negative about this would be the rope management. I wish it had some sort of spool to wind up the rope.
