Good hardware, good finish. I have my doubts on the 220 lb. claim though. Use caution where you use it, and watch your fingers so they don't get pinched or smashed.

I got the 2.36 inch magnet, picture below. The magnet itself is only 1.75 inches. The fit and finish is nice the stainless steel looks good. The eye bolt feels plenty strong. The magnet itself is about average for its size if you are familiar with magnets like these.If you are not familiar, these neodymium magnets are housed in a non-magnetic shell that keeps them from sticking to everything that isn't right below them. The magnet itself is recessed ever so slightly so the face of the magnet does not get easily cracked, but this also means to get full strength, 220 lbs in this case the magnet needs to come in full contact with a flat surface that is made with a highly ferris metal,. This is not what happens when you are using it most of the time. It may pick up a sheet of steel that weights over 200lbs but it might not pick up a steel cylinder that weighs 20 lbs. None of this is unique to this magnet, they all work this way.This one is of average strength for its size and is finished better than some others I have used.
