Plastic clear case came cracked, I was a little upset but decided to try out the pole anyways. Set up was easy and made sense. On first use i caught a really small bass(7-8 inches) and the end of the tip completely snapped off, I do not recommend this pole to anyone.

This kit was great because it was really light so it was easy to travel with. It also doesn't take much space it fits in a backpack and you still have a lot of room left in your backpack. It's also great for starters it's really easy to use like you can extend it fast and put it away fast. This also can make life a lot easier for the people who like to fish because you don't need to bring so much stuff like big backpacks of bait or hooks. It's just in a small little container with everything you need and a fishing rod. Overall, I loved this kit it was very helpful and easy to use.

Over all I was happy with the kit and was looking forward to using it during my vacations , that was until I took my first cast , the first ring hole came off, without any glue it simply ruined my fishing daysDisappointing ….

The rod is nice and the main body seems sturdy. The reel is nice but be wary of the end being a little flimsy. I put a 1 on weight on and on my first cast snapped the end section. I trimmed it up and put a rubber cap on it and everything worked fine. Still a little disappointed with that but overall not too displeased with the performance. Un fortunately I have not hooked anything to really test its strength.
