Wish they would offer a package with only two maybe three sizes because we'll never use the largest sizes to practice with, still worked well for teaching young kids how to cast.

You could just as easily use a sinker, these are nice because of the variety of weight and bright colors you can see precisely where you land. They do smell pretty bad but it doesn't come off on your hands.

I use these to practice and to tune my baitcasting rigs. It's a nice set of various weights and sizes. Recommended.

Bought them for my little nieces to practice casting their fishing rods. Clips are a little difficult to use.

A bit lighter than I expected, but good overall. The only hangup was getting the quick change tackle clips on. The eyeholes are more narrow than the width of the clip's latch, so I had to bend the latch away from the rest of the clip to give myself clearance to force it in. The PVC gives just enough to wiggle it through, but smaller hands may have an easier time with this, I nearly got a hand cramp by the last one. Still excited to try them out!

All the different sizes are nice, but if you're planning on practicing your flipping and pitching.... buy the softer, rubber practice plugs. The hard plastic just doesn't work as well.

I bought these to teach my oldest grandson how to cast and they were perfect. I mean there's not a lot of technology involved here, it's just a weighted piece of plastic.I just put a 2x2 piece of cardboard in the yard, tied one of the casting plugs on and had him nailing it every time from 50' away every cast. These are GREAT training aids and come in variable weights.
