Bought one a few months back and the thing was too hard to open. I have strong hands but it took a lot of force to open it. To where when it did the contents would spill out. I tried shaving off and lubing the lip, nada. In the trash it went.

The shallow size is adequate for carrying an assortment of flies, hooks, sinkers, beads, swivels, etc. for a day of ultralight fishing. The hinge is a little wide for connecting to a lanyard swivel, but a short piece of Paracord solves that problem. Get two, they click together and keeps your lanyard from swinging.
