We pull a small camper with our Jeep Grand Cherokee and felt we needed better mirrors for safety. This mirror works perfectly for our needs. Now we can keep an better eye on who's behind or coming around us. Unlike cheaper strap-on tow mirrors, this one features ratchets so you can adjust the fit quite well and keep the mirror in place much more securely. We always check the fit when we stop and should it need tightening it is so easy to do without removing all the straps. When you are ready to remove the mirror there's a quick release feature so that they come right off. The Just be sure to store them in a bag or box because there's a small strap that could get lost if you don't take care. We are very happy with this tow mirror and have already recommended it to some of our camping friends.

I haven't used them yet but will be in two weeks. I have attached them to my mirrors and they attach nice and neatly. I can still use the original mirrors and these give me the view behind my trailer I need. They are nice and solid and do not shift around. They are a bit stiff to adjust but that is because they are new and will loosen a bit as they are used. They need to be stiff to stay in position so hopefully they don't loosen too much. For now I am happy but will know more better after my travelling this summer.

I'm towing a 23' Forest River Ozark travel trailer with a 2018 Tacoma TRD Pro. I needed mirror extenders to see around the trailer but did not want permanent towing mirrors. These mirrors do work and met my needs at a budget friendly price.I noticed that you need to read the instructions and attach the mirrors as they explain or they will viberate some when driving. I set one up correctly and the other I did not, one wiggled while driving and the other didn't. It was important to keep the rubber block with the ratcheting mechanism in the center of the mirror you are attaching to ...that made the difference for me.They attached easily to my stock tacoma mirrors and left no damange or marks as far as I can tell when removed. The mirrors were very tight in their ball socket, making it a little hard to adjust, however I also think that makes these mirrors move amd viberate far less than others when driving. My only real complaint, price and all considered..... I wish they packaged these mirrors in packs of two....they are sold individually. They could be nicer, but then they would be more expensive and we all would complain more 😀This is a good mix between quality, price, and functinality ...a sweet spot for someone in my circumstance.

Recommended.I purchased a pair of these for my 2023 Colorado since custom-fit ones aren't available. You have to fiddle a bit on the clips to get it to fit well, but once you do, they fit well. Because of the slope of the back of the mirror, you will need to get the straps "just so" to get them to fit without danger of slipping. For me, the top of the bracket was as far towards the door as it could go, while the bottom slightly farther away, with maybe an inch gap from the door-side edge of the mirror. The strap mechanism seems to work well. The ratchet to tighten is easy to do, and the release is also a snap. On a short 2-hour haul with my trailer, I found the mirrors to be solid, slip-free, and there was very little vibration...there was very little "Jell-O" in the image, even at highway speeds. The mirrors themselves have a slight convex shape like a normal passenger-side mirror to increase the field of view. As a bonus, they didn't seem to interfere too much with the blindspot cameras on the underside of mirror.I've had different universal mirrors in the past, and these ones are better than average. Most give a vibrating image with the constant danger of the straps slipping and sagging, which does not seem to be the case here. My only concern is the danger of the ends of the straps or the ratcheting mechanism breaking, but there are replacements available, which is good.

We got them so we can improve visibility while towing our new caravan. They should do the job. A bit fidgety to install but fit tightly.

I just used these on a 1,200 mile trip picking up a small camper. I'm happy with their performance but here's a list of things I found important:- The mirrors are convex so the image they produce is smaller than the regular mirror on the drivers side and about the same as the one on the passenger side. This wasn't a problem for me - I liked the extra view but had to remind myself of the difference when backing up. I've attached an image to show the view they provide.- I have a Toyota 4Runner and the factory mirrors are tapered, getting thinner as you measure from inside to outside. These mirrors attached fine and held pretty well. They did gradually work their way towards the outer edge. It became noticeable after about 700 miles so I pulled over and reinstalled them. In the future I'm planning to place some silver duct tape on the factory mirror frame next to the inside strap clamp so as soon as the mirror starts to slip towards the outside there will be a gap between the tape and the mirror mount.- when installed I found one time the clamp that grabs the edge of the factory mirror wasn't properly gripping the frame even though when I had started it was properly in place. This means as I was adjusting the straps and tightening the ratchets it popped off. Just something to be aware of. Not a product flaw, just my inattention.- I expected them to work their way loose so I put a sturdy velcro strap around the base of my factory mirrors and then used zip ties to attach the mirrors to the strap. I figure if one did fall off I at least wouldn't loose it though I could end up dinging the paint on my 4Runner.....- My girlfirend is going to help me modify a velcro strap to secure the inner ratchet strap to the inside edge of the factory mirror frame. I'm thinking this may prevent the mirror creeping out and falling off.To sum this up - these mirrors worked great and allowed me to see around a wider camper. They need to be checked regularly just like you would check the hitch and lites regularly. Simple enough and I don't think I'll ever loose one, but if I do I'd be happy to get another one of these to replace it.

Mirrors fit my BMWX5 perfectly. Due to the pandemic have been unable to use them with the caravan attached however have tried them out whilst driving the car on it’s own. Mirrors did not come loose or vibrate, so far looking like a winner.

We recently bought a 2015 F150 and a travel trailer camper. Unfortunately we were unable to find an F150 in the style we wanted that came with the telescoping mirrors so we figured we'd find them aftermarket. Well, since the new F150 is a new redesign, it turns out that aftermarket manufacturers have not designed mirrors for this new model yet. So after combing through the internet we settled on this Fit System Universal mirrors. We have not been disappointed. We recently got back from a 1500 mile round trip and the mirrors performed very well. It took a few minutes to figure out how to tighten and release them, but once we got that under our belts, it was very easy to get them on and off. They fit very securely and we never had a problem with the loosening or vibrating, even at 75 mph on the Interstate while passing semis.I have seen some reviews where folks have said that the straps have broken. I can see this happening if you overtighten them. The mirrors use a ratcheting system to tighten the straps. The should be tightened until they are secure. The straps are plastic. Even though they appear to be plenty strong, the ratcheting system is easily strong enough to snap the straps if you get overzealous. I suggest that once you get the straps in place, ratchet a couple of times and test for a snug feel. Once they are snug, leave them alone and they should hold very well.Great deal the price. I highly recommend them.
