I had to pull the guts out of my old keys, modify them to fit in the new housings. The fobs provided could not be programmed by a locksmith.

I knew someone who could cut them according to the VIN specs and the programing was very straight forward. On 2 fobs after what I spent on cutting I saved 180.00 off dealership price.

If you order these for your Honda Accord, make sure they are for the right body. These are for the coupe, which I have. I made the mistake of ordering the ones for the sedan first and they didn't program. Why Honda made two different ones that look identical for the same vehicle I will never understand but I assure you it does matter. These work great on my coupe.

I bought for my honda Accord 2008, I had no problem connecting the key with the car, the key feels lighter then the original but does the job as a spare key.I would recommend this product.

Does not work for a 2010 honda accord coupe even though it says so in the title. After I purchased the key and got it cut I have to bring it to a mechanic where they said the key doesn’t work for a 2 door. So a waste of money on this key.

i will never know if this product will work or not, i was not able to get the car key fob learning mode even tell me it was in programming mode.......

Key fobs are great! I bought my 2011 used and it only came with one key, so I definitely needed extras. My husband was able to program these to lock/unlock/trunk/ from the existing car key bim-bam-boom, easy peasy, just watch a Youtube video and it's cake. What we didn't know is that there is a chip in the fob (standard with Honda) itself that needs to be programmed by someone that has the capability and software, otherwise the key won't start the car. We found a lock shop in our area that did the key cut for $18 each key, and the chip programming for $66 total (both keys). Still way cheaper than a Honda dealer. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and hope this information helps others when making their decision to purchase or not.

Really cheaply made product. Breaks too easy but for what you pay from the dealership is still a good choice. Have had it for some months now and it still works good. However, the locksmith had trouble programming the keys for my Honda. Other than that they finally took. Make sure to buy supper glue as well for when they break. The Honda will not start without the key fob attached.
