Not a good product , very cheaply made , where it goes over the nut on the prop , frayed the plastic the 1st time using it , couldn’t use it after that , very disappointing

Second time using it to remove transom plug the plastic gave way and roundedoff the square socket. Return window had expired so I’m out the $20 bucks.

The prop wrench should be carried on all boats. You never know when you might get something wrapped around the prop and need to take it off. Of course it is needed when changing props as well. This triple duty wrench will remove the drain plug and tab washer as well. The only other remaining item is the cotter pin.It floats, non corrosive, and light so it will make the perfect addition to any boat.

The overall quality of this wrench is good. It is made of heavy duty plastic. The wrench floats, so no worries about losing it at the bottom of the lake if you have an emergency prop change (yes, that happens, trust me). The little screw at the end of the wrench seems a bit dangerous and we'll be removing it. It looks like it can be removed with just a Phillips head screwdriver. We don't have a tap washer to remove. Not even sure what a tap washer is... My husband commented that the wrench is a little shorter than our current prop wrench and won't get the same amount of leverage. But we'll be keeping this wrench on our boat with our spare prop, it's nice to have a second one on hand.

I was a little concerned that this wrench for the boat prop was going to be too flimsy, being made of plastic. It’s actually composite resin and is reasonably rugged. I like to carry this in my 18-ft powerboat, so if I need to work on the propeller at the lake, I always have the tool at hand. I like that it floats. It fits a 1 1/16th nut, and also has, on the other side of the socket, a square 9/16 drain plug socket wrench.Handy tool.

This fits our 1994 Blue Water Boat perfectly. I love that it floats for if we ever need to change the prop out while out on the water. The only thing I wish is that it was orange or a different color that would be easier to spot if we dropped it in the water, but besides that it is a great product!

Anyone who owns or commonly operates a boat knows that the plug needs to be taken in and out every time you use the boat. Its a square bolt that needs to be taken out on the aft section of the boat. A wrench does work but it can slip and is heavy and sinks if you ever need to use it on the water. This plastic wrench not only removes the plug with ease, it also floats so that you dont lose it to the bottom of the lake or ocean. In addition this tool can remove the propeller if you have a rope accidentally get pulled into the prop. This is very common if you tow skiers or tubers. Sometimes the rope can fall down and get sucked into the propeller. This tool is easy to use to get off the propeller and as mentioned above it floats when you are not using it. Extremely helpful to have on hand and a tool that I use daily on my boat. 5/5 stars would recommend and I will be ordering more as gifts for friends and family that own a watercraft.
