My daughter (7) has been obsessed with climbing for years. We got 2 of these for her but we've only needed 1. She's After months of daily use, a little of the foam grip is coming off. I can't even be sure that she didn't do that on purpose. Either way, this was such a great value for how much use it gets.

The bar itself works great and installs easily (you have to be careful where you install it) However there is a lot of play in the handles so you need to really tighten it for it to be firm. If your wall is weak this will easily break it.

For chin-ups or pull-ups the center unit rotates. How does anyone deal with this? is there a way to lock it? I have had a Voit bar for years, no longer available and I love it . The padded center bar is stable.I would not order this bar again.

Great price and decent quality. Not to be used on drywall as it will make a hole. Install in door frame only
