The squirrels have decided that my metal rain gutters are tasty treats and have been chewing holes in them as if they were swiss cheese. So far, covering the holes with this flashing tape has worked to seal the holes and keep the water from draining out in undesirable locations. The tape seals well, is waterproof, and so far has taken care of this issue. I'm sure this will work on other things as well, but so far I've only used it for gutter holes. Now if I could just get the squirrels under control....

This is an excellent quality tape. It formed a good bond on my asphalt roof and has stopped a leak I had around my chimney. I recommend it.

This is a good, very sticky joist tape. It was easy to apply, and even though the weather is too cold to be ideal for applying this sort of tape, it did stick and seems waterproof for now. Applied in good weather, this should be even stronger. I wouldn't know about 15 years, but for now, it's holding up well, and based on the quality, it seems like this will outlast other tapes. It's quite strong.

I love this tape to seal seams on my almost flat roof that always spring a leak at the seams once I apply the leak stops
