I tried this Flea and Tick Waterless Foam Cat Shampoo on my cat. I have a pure White Cat who is 12 yrs old and also deaf, can't hear at all. He is an indoor cat and always has since I got him at 7 weeks old. Never really ever had fleas or ticks before. I had to move back with my Mother because he has Dementia and brought my cat and dog with me. My Mother has had dogs in the past, and has older carpet, which we will be replacing this spring. Well since coming here, I have treated my dog with his flea treatment, but the cat never did good with the flea drop treatments in the past, got sick from it. So I thought I would give this a try, because lately I have seen him scratching a lot. It's the dead of winter here in the Northeast, but fleas are still possible. Since he has been scratching I have been noticing a lot of scabs where he has been scratching, because it seems he gets obsessed when scratching, but have not seen a flea on him, but do see the flea dirt.I tried this Foam Shampoo on my older cat and I saw a 2 fleas on the towel after washing him, so hopefully that was all that was bothering him. He actually loves to take a bath, but he didn't care for the foam bath. Got the scratches to prove that one...LOL. The dog won't leave him alone, because he wants to smell what I did to the cat. Scent isn't too bad. I just tried it last night and haven't seen the cat scratch as much as he used to. So hopefully I got what he had.The price is decent, especially if it continues to work well. I do recommend It. Will update, if any side effects or seems like it didn't work well. If no update, then product did the job and works great.

This natural dry foam formula is so easy to use and works wonders in keeping fleas and ticks at bay without the need for water. It’s gentle on my cat's skin and leaves her feeling fresh and clean.

I have a cat with some long hair in places, her legs have short hair, her tail and ruff are long, and she has tufts between her toes. Yes, she looks weird, like out of Dr. Seuss. She is a lover though and has a flea allergy. One flea sends her insane with scratching and I can only put flea preventative on once a month. With people dropping animals off where I live, it is a constant battle. This foam shampoo I thought would be easier than bathing in the sink. Not so, she hates it and my other cat runs away when he smells it. So funny. It does seem to give her relieve, but I have scratches to show for it. How can I contain her in a sleeve as done to medicate, when I have to apply the foam all over. So for now, get her neck and ruff and area above her tail, legs and tail, but belly and sides and back forget it. So, even though this works, just be aware of what may be involved to use it. Hope your kitty is easier to handle than mine.

I used the flea shampoo on part of one of my cats where I had been seeing a lot of fleas on her one night. The next morning I saw a large flea on top of that area. It seemed stunned but it was still alive. I'm not sure that this will kill any fleas. It doesn't seem to have any sort of insecticide in it.
