How to adjust mixer to work properly
After mixer model is selected correctly, if, for any reason, the Flex Edge Beater still not fit properly, hitting the bottom of the bowl or too far away from the bowl, you can correct the clearance easily as follow:
1. Turn adjustment screw (fig 1) SLIGHTLY counterclockwise (left) to raise the Beater or clockwise (right) to lower the Beater.
2. Make adjustment so that the Beater edged rubber just contact slightly and gently with bowl surface.

I bought this for my brand new 5qt kitchen aid for my holiday baking a few months ago. It was a game changer in the ability to scrape the sides of the bowl. It has held up great now through the holiday baking and more recent baking. it does not appear cheap and is high quality. Very easy to install. I would highly suggest for the bakers!

I do a lot of baking and this attachment has been on my list for a while. Does a great job scraping down the sides of the bowl as it rotates.

I bought this beater for my Kitchenaid K45 mixer to replace the original paddle which had begun to chip, and it fits well and works well. I have used it several times now for cake batter and frosting, and it makes a huge difference in how quickly everything comes together. The one issue I had was when you start the mixer, this beater can cause liquid ingredients to splash if you add too much liquid at once. I am now more cautious when starting the mixer, and it has worked great. Iam very pleased with the purchase, and the price was great.

I didn’t return it even though I don’t think it is the best fit for my mixer, but I still works. It scraps the sides, but seems to be too tight of a fit.

This is a great replacement for the original mixer paddle that came with the mixer. I like the rubber edges that help mix ingredients and it is much less likely for paint to chip off like the original paddle.

Bought this as a replacement for the OEM plastic paddle attachment that came with my kitchen aid mixer (which snapped when I didn’t put enough liquid in a bread recipe, my bad). This one is a perfect fit and will presumably be more resilient given the frame is entirely made of metal. A little squeaky at first (the silicon against the glass bowl) but quiets right down the minute you add something to the bowl. Glad I got it.
