Weigh the amount of media in the barrel and use an ounce of product per pound of media to start. Makes a huge difference between guessing and taking that step. I tumbled the brass in pins and dish washer soap first and they were clean but four hours in walnut hulls and polish made them shine like new.

Seems to polish well. Makes globs when added to walnut hulls (no surprise - just need to let tumbler run a while before adding brass cases)

Follow the directions and you will get your brass casings clean and shiny safely.I use a Lyman vibratory tumbler with walnut media.I wonder why it has to be a paste instead of a liquid.The Flitz clumped up even with few minutes of tumbling without cases in it. You will have to sort of break it up with your fingers and blend it into the media...like cutting butter into flour.I am happy and so are my pistols.

I add this polishing compound to either ground walnut shell or corn cob brass tumbling media to speed up the cleaning process of my brass and nickel rifle and pistol cases prior to resizing them. Greatly improved the cleaning power and polishing effect of my vibratory tumblers and speeds up the cleaning process.. Easy to use, simply add the recommended amount of polish to your media while the tumbler is operating and let it run until it is throughly mixed and is no longer clumping up in the media. Add the dirty brass and it will be nicely cleaned and shiny in about half the time of plain untreated media! Great product ☆☆☆☆☆

This additive works really nice on any kind of brass.I use corn cob and walnut media, mixed 50/50 then squirt an ounce size quantity and let it run for 3 hours. 500 9mm casings come out shiny as new, 300 .45ACP and so on.I usually treat up to 3 loads of brass with the same ounce of product. I’ve noticed that the fourth load, is not shiny anymore.Price wise is great! If you combine it with good preparation practices, cleaning your primer pockets and using carbide dies, your end product will look and feel like factory ammunition.
