What a absolute master piece. I ordered the 304 stainless one and the tig welds are a work of art, ends are welded and a long seem down the side. Came semi polished which is really cool too!! Couldn’t be any happier.

Application: 3" diameter piping, 18" resonator in the mid-pipe, no catalyst, Mazdaspeed 6 w/gtx3076I replaced a dynomax ultra flow ss that was to loud and had serious drone at cruise and under full vacuum. The muffler all but completely eliminated those issues.Overall volume is down compared to the Dynomax. But the tone is completely different. What was a burble at idle is now more of a gurgle. There are some sharp midrange tones at moderate throttle that were lost with the Super flow. It's a mild baritone throaty timbre that doesn't come off raspy. It still has that typical bass-y uncorked MZR sound, but without the low rumble of a frantic tuba player trapped under a giant pile of blankets.The biggest improvement the DBX offers is a huge reduction in cabin resonance. The Super flow droned particularly strong at certain cruise rpms. The DBX is easily 15-20 db less at the same rpms. In fact, I'd venture to say it's only a few db louder than the stock exhaust while cruising.

Sounds ok and seams like I have better low in torque with the resonator removed and short ram intake Also slightly improved gas mileage by about 1 mpg. Tone isn't as low as I would have liked, but i connected this to a y-pipe reducing the 2.25" down to 2". Might replace with a flowmaster single in dual out.

Muffler is as described. Note: the 3" muffler is a true 3" inside diameter. Other customers have stated it was only 2.75" when it is in fact a full 3". Perhaps this has been changed recently.

Not impressed with this muffler the sound is very quiet. Not what I want expecting from a flowmaster. I was expecting a deep throaty sound. It's awesome looking but it's way to quiet can't hear it while in the car I would not recommend it. Also it's on prime didn't get it until 5 days later not sure why?

I bought this to replace a Cherry Bomb Extreme on my brother's Dart. It has a nice, mellow tone at cruising speeds and rips when you hit it. The nice thing about this muffler is that it has a nice tone that doesn't drown out the turbo like the Cherry Bomb did.

Install this muffler on a 97 altima with a newly rebuilt engine and 50 more hp then factory. I also added and rooted the cat. Big mastake. The muffler is crazy loud and I get back fire due to the lack of some back presume . Instead og gaining gas mileage, t drop a little. Overall I feel it's a good muffler, you have to make sure getting what you want

Although the muffler fits my 2007 Honda Civic Si Sedan, I needed to take it to a shop in order to have suspension brackets welded to as part of the replacement of the factory muffler.The sound is throaty; unlike so many aftermarket mufflers out there. And I was really concerned...Got a Honda you want to "tune" into something that doesn't make people laugh when you accelerate? Look no further!!

This I bought for a friend and we installed it on his Jetta and I don't think there is a better sounding Muffler for a 4 cylinder vehicle - it does not have any obnoxious loud FART can Import sound like some round mufflers. FLOWMASTER went above and beyond in designing this muffler - great deep throaty sound and excellent exhaust flow.
