Your cart is empty.This custom designed aluminum heat shield is pre-formed to fit all Flowmaster Super 50 Series mufflers and attaches easily with included stainless steel muffler straps. Adding a heat shield to your muffler gives added protection in reducing exhaust heat radiated through the mufflers and also helps reduce interior noise. May fit all mufflers with an approximate case thickness of 5.00-inches tall, 11.00-inches wide and 17.00-inches in length.

This is a great quality product, as Magnaflow products are. It works as it should, and looks great too, as it is in plain sight installed on my UTV. Was very easy to install. Good price!

I just wish I had purchased this shield earlier - as mufflers run really hot and made my jeep floor super hot without it. Easy to install.

I purchased this to fit a muffler that was an inch or so smaller in width. I had no problem forming the heat shield to conform to the smaller muffler's size. It worked well in my instance.

First off, the dimensions in the description are off. The length (would be inlet to outlet on a muffler) is 17 inches and the width is 10 inches (closer to 11 inches but squeezes to about 10 when clamps are tight). The measurements given in the description are closer to the size of the box it comes packaged in.But if you have a 50 series Flowmaster, then you really don't need the dimensions.As for another reviewer complaining how it does not fit and the clamps are too short, This fits perfect. The clamps are plenty long too. Flowmaster would NOT package a shield that does not fit their mufflers. Just make sure you know what you have. The photo I added of this heat shield on the Flowmaster under my Camaro should prove that it fits and the clamps are long enough. In fact the clamps could have been a bit shorter(simple worm clamps like a hose clamp... a 23" long hose clamp).I also added some strips of Cool It Thermo Tec Aluminized heat barrier to the inside of this shield. It would have been nice if something like this was already added and no additional cost, But I don't see that as a reason to take any stars away from this product.

We have a 68 Camaro with FlowMaster 40 mufflers. The car really wants to throw a lot of heat into the interior. I saw this kit and figured it could not hurt. They fit so nicely and do just what they advertise. The installation looks Pro and the materials seem to be a good quality. It would have been better if the price was a bit lower, but I would still buy them again.

I would not recommend this product. It is too thin to shield anything. The straps sent were too short. I ruined it trying to get it on and it ended up in the recycle. I still have the straps though. Probably never use them and they will end up in the recycle as well. I ended up changing the flowmaster knockoff with a Smithy muffler and no more hot floors
