About this item

  • Moderate Sound
  • Race proven Delta Flow technology
  • Excellent choice for 4&6 cylinder vehicles
  • Mild interior resonance

The 60 series incorporates Flowmaster's Delta Flow technology to produce a mellow tone, improved power and throttle response on smaller displacement 4 and 6 cylinder vehicles. Generally suited to rear mount installations, use of larger diameter tailpipe/tip will create a deeper tone that is evident both inside and outside the vehicle. Constructed of 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded for maximum durability.

Don't buy, not worth the price at all. Installed on a 09 accent 1.6l headers cat deleted. Can't handle flow, rattles and sounds like crap at high rpms. Will be going back to a stock exhaust system which will cost me hundreds. Avoid this product.

I mounted this onto my 2010 Honda CR-V. I’ve been looking at ways to sport this vehicle up and this helps! I get a good growl on start-up that moves to a low purr when warm. No interior drone through any RPM, noticeable rumble on smooth acceleration(but that’s what I’m looking for). I would recommend this over a glass-pack or one of those other cans I ran with when I was younger. Stock cats, resonator and intake.

Put on an '87 supra, 7m-ge. Sounds amazing at low rpm. Around 3000-4000 rpm something is rattling inside. I've heard from a mechanic friend that this is common with flowmaster...

Had it installed the next day it arrived. Have enjoyed the exhaust tone ever since. Depending on your sound tolerance, you might want to have a resonator Installed as well. Just to keep the drone down.

Good quality sounds deep and not too loud 👌🏻

I put this on my 10 accent to replace an already aftermarket muffler which sounded good but a little too loud. This was definitely deeper and has alot less drone than I expected. It has some but nothing annoying when cruising. It definitely is tuned for the 4/6 cylinder engines and would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a nice loud deep sound when accelerating but subtle when cruising.

3 stars because it's a great product but wrong one for my vehicle. The seller claimed it would fit but I had to customize it to fit.

I installed the 60 Series in a rear-mount configuration, in conjunction with a mid-mounted Flowmaster HP-2 on my 1987 Porsche 944S. The 944 has a relatively large-displacement 4 cylinder, so it produces a lot of the unpleasant raspy resonation associated with 4-bangers. The 60 Series by itself was not able to dampen the raspy sound, but the combination of the 60 series and the HP-2 works very well to do so.It is listed as having a mild to moderate sound with minimal interior resonation. I would classify it as a moderate sound with somewhat more than minimal interior resonation, though my 944 does not have much in the way of sound deadening insulation, either. It was slightly louder than I expected, but not obnoxious, and it produces a pleasing, mellow tone. More of a "European" sound than what you'd associate with your typical Japanese 4-cylinder, if that makes any sense, although it could also be due to the fact that I did install these mufflers on a European car, too.Anyway, this is a good muffler if you want an exhaust note with a nice-sounding little bit of resonance that's noticeably louder than stock. In conjunction with the HP-2, there is no 4-cylinder raspiness at all, even from the big 2.5 liter 4-banger in the 944S.

I installed this on an old 4-cylinder 95 Nissan pickup. Hoped it would sound more like a "real" truck, despite the puny engine. :-) Overall, it's decent. Tone is okay, a little bit loud, and droning in the cab is limited to right around 2000 rpm. This was billed as being designed for smaller 4 and 6 cylinder engines, instead of their normal mufflers for muscle cars, big trucks, etc. I guess I would say that's true, just don't expect any miracles on a small 4 cylinder engine like mine. Probably works great on a 6 cylinder.

I bought this muffler needing a replacement for yet another p.o.s. cheap muffler that looked nice and shiny and was cheap but ended up rusting and falling apart or the packing in it burns up and ends up being ridiculously loud both inside and more importantly directly in my ears making it difficult, at certain rpm's, to either hold a conversation or hear the radio. Anyways when I received this I was immediately impressed by not only the built quality but also the sound is a thousand times better than the cheap "fart cans" and it doing the muffling using metal baffles rather than fiberglass or whatever is used, it won't eventually get louder its just a little louder than stock on the inside and not noticeable @ idle. The only issue I have with it would have to be the lack of a tail pipe but that makes sense that they wouldnt include one considering this is more of a universal muffler, nevertheless great product.
