This set of 4 is reasonably priced for a set of mesh fly boots that has some supports built in (2 wire boning strips per legging). The wire boning sewn in helps to keep them up. Also, the felt edges prevent any rubbing on the legs, and the 4 velcro tabs make attaching a snap! Another thing with velcro tabs like the ones on these boots is they also make it easier to adjust the fit (**cut off any overhanging bits). Finally, the Amazon web page images includes a picture with measurements, so be sure to check that before ordering. I find the size offered in a Medium (18.7 inch by 15.3 inch by 14.7 inch) works well for my 15.2hh Thoroughbred and Quarter horse cross bred mare.

The boots fit securely. There are flees and flies hiding in our grass. If my wife walks across the grass without socks on, she can come back with these little bites around her ankles. imagine what your horse goes through. It's peace of mind and reduces sores and other issues.

Ever since I started using these boots, my horse has stopped stomping and pacing from fly bites. His legs stay protected from scratches and swelling, and he seems more relaxed overall. It’s great knowing he’s comfortable and stress-free in the pasture. Highly recommend!
