The leaders are prefectly good, despite the low pricing. May not compete with 'the best', but I would recommend them for trout fishing.

I have a pack of these in commonly used sizes as backup in case I run out or lose my preferred leaders. The butt section is Just a little too stiff for my liking for use on dries (not bad for nymphs or streamers) however they will still will do the trick if needed. The biggest thing to note is the tippet seems to have a lot less break resistance than the more expressive leaders. If this is a concern you might want to go a size larger than what you normally would.

This is the second time I have bought these leaders. They are individually packaged, and easy to string out. I tie them on directly to the fly line with a simple nail knot, although they have a looped end for a looped fly line. The tippet end is strong and stays straight when casting and retrieving. Excellent value for the money, as well.

I ordered 0x for Bass fishing. And they should be fine for that. Leaders seem fresh so not a lot of memory. It is only a lightly tapered leader so not much of a butt section. Will be fine for what I am doing or nymphing. Maybe not great for turning over dry flies or poppers for that matter. Update: Went bass fishing in my pond and did well. Went to add some tippet and the .011" 0x tippet I added seemed thicker. Took my dial calipers to a couple still in the bag and it was .010" or 1X. YMMV.

Gave these a try for the value and didn't have any major complaints. Has more memory than higher priced tapered leaders, but once you have them straightened properly, they turn over and deliver the fly accurately. No issues on strength or breaking off on sizable fish 18-20" range. Mostly use these for nymphing set ups.

As a new fly fishermen (22 years since I last fished) these work very well for me. I'm sure there is something much better but for now, learning again, and the price they are perfect.

This leader has a loop so it can be attached to the fly line easily, taking out the frustration of needing a nail knot each time it needs to be changed. Also seems to be properly tapered and light enough for most fly types. Have not tested using dry flies with it so I don't know if it will stay floating on it's own but it does work well for nymphs and wet flies.

Great leader! Took these with me to the San Juan last weekend and caught multiple 18+ inch brown trout on a single leader. I expected these to be brittle and break, they were not -- great quality for a fantastic price!
