I got this kit for my son. He loves it he is in the Military and wanted to learn how to tie his own flies. This kit has everything tool wise and it not cheap tools. Very nice set of tools. Comes in a nice wrap bag for storage. I cannot say enough good things about this set. Thank you for the great quality and a good price.

This kit has all the tools you need to tie flies. I like the bobbin, the hackle pliers I’m not too keen on, but I haven’t used them yet. Maybe I’ll be surprised.

After reading the comments, a lot of people have stated that the scissors are absolute garbage. After tying 20 flies or so, the scissors are struggling a little bit. They're doing fine, but we'll see after the next 20 flies. As for the other tools... I LOVE THEM. They are cheap, but efficient and hold up really well. My favorite things are the whip finisher and bobbin. They are great quality.

The instruments don't feel cheap- they're well made and feel good and heavy in your hand. The scissors cut well even at the end of the blade. The bobbin felt a little tight but I haven't lubricated them yet. It's small enough I can roll it up, fit it in my backpack and tie a fly right on the river.
