I would have added a video, but then you might think that I was dumber than the average fixit man. I bought a mini tiller with a broken rope. Easy repair you might think. Wow, what a mistake I made, but I cannot complain toooo much, because I got it for $30. The worst design that I ever encountered. It was a Homelite Mini Tiller. I have had good success with Homelite, so I did not hesitate to buy it. Who ever designed the tiller never gave a thought to who would have to replace the rope. I had to almost completely disassemble the unit to replace the rope pull. Now that it is done, the rope pull is great. I did have to fuse it with fire, after I cut it, but that is normal with nylon rope. Easily done with a candle lighter and a sharp pair of scissors. Only took two pulls to get it running. Rope is great. Perfect for the job..
