Go for it. It's waterproof and small enough to install anywhere. Make sure you have compatible flysky surface radio.

I have used this on RC rock crawlers and RC boats and some random projects where I just needed a receiver to move some servos around and it’s done great. It’s budget priced and for simple tasks like driving my 1/10 scale Redcat Gen 8 it works great.

It works fine, I've gotten it wet before too. However, the only remote I've been able to get this to bind to is FlySky's AFDHS compatible controllers, so you might as well go ahead and buy one of those while you're ordering this.

Everything worked perfect. I followed the instructions that came with the transmitter and it binded right up with my second RC car. Now using one transmitter for 2 RC cars and it works great. I do have lots of experience with RCs but I simply followed the instructions and it works perfect.
