Picked up this helmet as an air soft and paintball accessory. This helmet is advertised as one size but the one I received is labeled large/extra large. Out the box this helmet requires pads to be installed using Velcro stickers that attached the inside padding. There are no instructions for this so you’ll need to reference a photo on the Amazon ad page as a starting point. My recommendation is to attach the Velcro sticker to the pad first and then attach it to the helmet. Otherwise it’s kind of a pig in a poke as to where the stickers need to be placed. Overall look of the helmet is very nice. The quality of the shell is very good and light weight. My big issue with this helmet is sizing. I feel like I got lucky. I have a big head and I’m a big guy so receiving this size worked great for me. On the other hand my 17 year old son wanted one so I had him try on mine and it’s way too big for him. No amount of chin strap or padding adjustments will compensate for this being oversized for him. This is unfortunate because we would have definitely picked up another one if not for this discrepancy. I find this helmet is difficult to rate based on these issues. I got lucky with the correct size being sent to me but this helmet definitely won’t work for everyone. I this the overall quality and design is very nice once it’s assembled correctly but you’re kinda on your own to figure that part out. The skins I ordered separately are very nice and fit well. If I could be certain of what I was going to receive size wise and didn’t have to reference photos for assembly I would give this a 4 star plus rating. Unfortunately I feel like these critical issues make for a 3 star rating at best. The FMATAL Gear simply ballistic helmet, is lightweight and well made. This helmet comes with everything you need to set up the helmet for use. The chin strap is made of soft leather that is adjustable to make a secure fit.. The helmet is made of lightweight durable plastic. The helmet comes with Velcro backed foam inserts to adjust the size of the helmet to fit you head. The helmet is well made for use, but he problem is getting the helmet to be sized down to my head. Maybe I just have much smaller head, but I could get the helmet small enough without putting a small hand towel inside it along with the foam inserts. Other than that the helmet is a good safety helmet for roller blading, skate boarding or bike riding.

It also did not come with any guidance on how to set it up with the padding or velcro bits that must be added by the user. I am new to this type of gear and it was not rocket science to figure out, but I have to go back to the Amazon page to look at pictures and figure it out from that. The real issue is that this was supposed to be a 'medium-large' size but it was all super large on my head. I have a different brand now that fits much better and is not such a large bowl. Other than that it is equipped fairly standard. I did like the chin strap better than another one I got so I swapped them. Otherwise not real pleased with the execution on this.

This helmet is advertised as "one size fits all", but it absolutely IS NOT. I have an average size head, and this helmet is TOO SMALL. Even without installing the interior padding this helmet barely fits my head. This is a child size helmet, not for adults. Very disappointed.

Very solid helmet. Lightweight but sturdy. Looks and feels like my more expensive one and feels the same. Good fit and comfortable to wear.

As far as non-ballistic bump helmets go, this one is a great find. It fits well and seems to be constructed well too. The padding is sufficient. I also think that the FDE color profile looks great. I currently run a set of NV goggles on mine for night hunting.

This lightweight and comfortable tactical helmet is perfect for airsoft and paintball enthusiasts. It provides decent protection and can be adjusted for a customized fit. However, the ABS material, while reducing the weight, may not be as durable as the materials used in higher-end models. It's suitable for casual use, but may not withstand more intense tactical situations.
