I thought that there's nothing better like tools shaped like your serious thumpers! Use it for practice swings that if you hit your hand or any soft tissue, it won't be devastating like a white oak escrima stick.Hardwoods can cause you to pop a tendon or break a bone.

I train Kali, be care with these, they are for working light technique and light sparring, they can break easily if you are striking hard. They are supposed to be light in case you do get hit or drop on a bare foot. For more intense drills use actual wood.

They broke very easily. The first day I used them. They were pipe wrapped in foam. I thought they were sticks.
