So far so good, it’s only been in about a month but has worked well. I did have to buy 2) 1/2 flex lines 12”.

Installing it was a breeze. Started and heated water better than any system I’ve ever used. Seems to be very economical as well. Couldn’t be happier.

It’s a pretty nice luxury to have in a camper to have unlimited hot water for showers and dishes. It was not hard to install, and it has worked well so far.

Got the first one and installed it, but it never fired up. Took it allll back out and sent it back. Got the 2nd one and it worked. Went on our first trip with it to the Florida keys (to a campground with no showers) & it started not working & displaying a E7 code. Called the company and was directed to India. The guy said my gas valve was messed up. So they’re sending me a 40$ part that requires me taking the whole unit out again & taking the whole unit apart. AVIOD THIS JUNK

Read the instructions that came with the heater and online. It calls for a 5/8s unf connector for the propane. It's not, it's a 3/8s flare connector, which is what is on the RV. As I was trying to bend the copper propane line it kinked, so I had to cut the line and make my own flare ends. So be aware of that. and I had to extend the water lines. The instructions say you might have to do that, but you won't know how much longer you need till you get it situated. The door came separate and that was another issue which I'll post on the door review. The heater works fine, however there is a lag. I expected that when it is first turned on. You have to wait for the cold water to clear the pipes. But after you get hot water and turn it off for a minute or two, when you turn it back on you'll get warm water, then cold for about 30 seconds then hot water. Now that we know that we just plan for it while showering, howerver, we just leave the hot water runnig while rinsing the dishes. I gave 3 stars for the incovienece of the instructions and there was no mention anywhere of the lag if you turn the hot water on and off.

The best upgrade you can make. So far no problem with the unit. And easy to install.

This water heater replaced a tank heater and for the camping my family does it works great and is more fuel efficient that the old tank heater. I was concerned that the family would struggle with adjusting the temp before use but even at the lowest setting it is too hot for showers. Because of the high temp and the flow requirement, you cannot run much cold water with it. It is a great unit after a season of use and has been a great purchase.

So far I have been very pleased with this unit. It's a complete game changer for full time RV living. As a family of 4 showers were challenging at times. I had a 10 gallon suburban water heater and for us it didn't keep up. We could get two relatively short showers out of it before temps dropped off or went fully cold. Now that we have made the switch we can all take showers back to back without issue. It does take a little longer for the hot water to get to the tap but we are always hooked to swere so the additional water is of no consequence. The unit installed easily and wasn't too bad. I did have to witch over my fittings to standard fittings the same as what attaches to the water inlet of a toilet. I also had to get the 15x15 door but I did not have to cut or modify anything. The unit is actually smaller than the suburban so I actually gained some storage space. The pro version has a mixing tank on the rear to help with temperature fluctuations when someone washes there hands or flushes the toilet. It does seem to help but otherwise is the same as the standard unit. Knowing I needed to change the door anyway getting the gold pro unit for the same price as the standard was a no brainer. All in all I so far am vary pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone considering the switch. I haven't been in the cold yet but time will tell what that results in lol.
