This cot is nice and easy to set up. I like how lightweight and comfortable it is. If you add a sleeping pad its best as the cot can get cold because cool air will consistently flow under the cot.

I bought this after seeing the good reviews on how comfortable it is. I've used it on three camping trips so far and it has worked great. It is relatively easy to set up. I'm a larger person and fit well on it. However, On the last trip when I went to set it up, I found the elastic broken on one of the struts. It's not structural but it does help with keeping the pieces together when stored. I'm disappointed. I will continue to use it and recommend it to others. If things change I will update my review.

Ich bin begeistert.Stabil. Kleines Packmass. Schnell auf und abzubauen. Gewicht.Alles Top.Einziges Manko. Der Stoff ist sehr glatt. Dadurch rutscht der Schlafsack wie auf einer Eisbahn.

I ordered one of these to try as a replacement for an air mattress for car camping. It was easy to set up, feels very sturdy, and is comfortable although I added a pad on top as well. I used another reviewers suggestion and applied wax to the poles (I used a block of paraffin to rub it on and then smoothed with a warm hand) and it *totally eliminated* the loud noise from rolling and moving around. I slept on it one night in my living room to get a sense of how it would work in the field and I got a pretty good nights sleep. I rolled off once, but it's close to the ground so no big deal. I believe this will be a great replacement for the air mattress in the tent.

well the plastic claws are made of the strong plastic, glass-filled or what-have-you...but not well riveted into place and one of the claws popped off. I suppose it could be glued back but they didn't respond to my customer service request, even though they specifically advertised response within 24 hours...so back it goes! I need a functioning cot not a diy project

Never knew I would find a lightweight, portable cot! This cot, like my favorite from Lacal, COULD have deserved 5 stars. However, it's very, very compact carry bag is way too tight, making it a struggle to fit all the pieces back in and close up. For that reason, I downgraded it to 3 stars.I am an avid hiker, camper, backpacker, and also overland/boondock. My gear for those activities total over $5,000 (I kid you not!) as I go through quite a lot of them for different situations.Camping cots are a strong recommendation when winter camping -- every inch you are off the ground keeps you vastly warmer than closer to the cold bottom. Cots also can be comfortable to sleep on (definitely to use as a seat) and allow for storage underneath. If you ever come across a rainy situation, your raised sleeping quarter can save you a lot of frustration with suddenly waking up with a wet bottom. With all that said, what I really love about this cot is that it is LIGHT at just 4 lbs. Light enough for wilderness backpacking. It also is small and folds up like a small one- or two-person tent. Assembly is fairly easy, but most importantly, once everything was stretched out, it was VERY comfortable.I took it on a test to see how it would sleep overnight in comparison to my Therm-A-Rest sleeping pad. I prefer this cot hands-down.... except... the carry bag.

Rub WAX up and down the two poles that hold the fabric. I used a cheap tea light candle. the rubbing noise is virtually gone now.
