I sleep 3-4x nights a week in hotels. After finding used condoms, meth drops, and god knows what else in the coffee makers, I bought a French press. Not wanting to add a coffee cup to break in my travel bag, I bought this pot.It’s easy to clean, stows small and heats up fast. Really fast.I’d buy again.

This works great and it's good to have in the hotel rooms. That way I get to use a pot that wasn't previously used for coffee. I hate when my tea has a leftover coffee essence.

Great for cruises or international travel. Cord easily disconnects from kettle, cleans with basic detergent, no residue. Folds down to a mug size, lite weigh, easy to use with international voltage converters, Very good quality. Works exceptionally well! Buying another one as a gift.

I just got this in and have run a few cycles on it so far. It heats exactly as I hoped. 6 mins to full boil from room temp. The apparent build quality is like something that costs $14 and that is what it is so we are good enough there. My big hang up is that it stinks pretty bad like some industrial chemical. I have tried cycling it with and without dish soap. I tried boiling vinegar in it. I even tried a little bleach. I smells like something that has no business being near food. I am assuming that a few more cycles and cleans will get rid of it so I am going keep it and for now my review is based on the assumption it will get better.

I bought this kettle on 7/5/2024, based on the high customer rating and compact design was going to use it to boil water during an upcoming overseas trip. Since our trip was going to be for 5 weeks, we tested the kettle before the trip and it seemed to work fine.Upon arrival, we used the kettle to boil water as planned and it worked fine. However, when we tried to boil water the following day, it stopped working. Although the light switch did come on, the kettle did not get hot and the water stayed cold. We decided to wait for a few days to give the kettle time to completely dry out but it still didn’t work. We tried it several more days but it completely stopped working.Since we were out of country in Northern Europe for 5 weeks, we couldn’t even return the kettle for a refund due to 30 day return policy and we ended up throwing it away. In short, this kettle was good for only two uses for us which is totally unacceptable. I am not sure how such a poor quality product can receive the high review rating but based on my personal experience, I do not recommend this product. Buyer beware!
