The main joint bolt that locks the vertical rod in place, which holds the entire weight of the saxophone, was defective. It's a snapping bolt that can be retracted manually and expands again when released inside the hole. Poor build quality made it impossible to expand again after contracting, making the whole product defective. Although the rest of the bolts and the body looks good, the main bolt that gives the entire contraption it's value was not working properly, effectively rendering the whole product useless.
