I love the design, lightweight, folding, quite stable with my weight on it. But the seat in particular developed cracks where lamination gave way soon after I received it.

Bought 2 stools. After one week one of the screws stripped out and split the dowel holding the seat on. Used lightweight material, but also soft wood that easily strips/splits. Look cute, but not super functional.

The chair is not required to be installed. It is easy to use. It's nice to fold it up and put it aside when not in use.
