I love Folkmanis. A fangirl for a very long time. Though this is not a puppet. You can’t control the wings or beak. It’s just oddly inserting your hand into a stuffie. Horrible. I never return toys. I am so bummed out that I have to add something to my to do list to return this non-puppet. This is how much I hate it.

I love Folkmanis puppets. I have probably more than 30 of them, but this puppet while I love crows is so small in through the mouth in the opening that short of a small child’s hand, no one could have this be usable. I feel like the video is misleading because it is shown being used by an adult and you cannot fit your hand in this puppet.

The bird is a tiny bit smaller than a real crow, I think--but still very good. I think it might fool a crow if the person wasn't visible, and maybe even if they were.

Bought this for my niece for Christmas. It’s sooo cool and honestly looks real! You can move around its beak, head, and wings. Very soft.

We bought this puppet to use in wildlife rehab work, to help prevent baby crows from imprinting on their human carers before their release. It’s absolutely perfect! It arrived in perfect condition and it’s a very lifelike size. We’re ordering another as a spare!

Okay, just kidding with the headline, but I do love ravens. Crows kind of scare me becasue they run in those big packs. Ravens seem like they want to start a conversation. I bought this for my daughter at a toy store (she’s 33) but they only had one, so had to find mine online. I do not use him for a puppet, but rather the hole on the bottom for the hand fits nicely over my bedpost so he sits up there and I swear, out of the corner of my eye, I jump sometmes becasue I think he’s real. Folkmanis makes the BEST puppets by far. His feathers have the sheen of a healthy young bird, but they don’t lay as smoothly as I’d like. Not sure how they’d do that. He’s not really poseable but can be pulled a bit to get him where you want him. The beak is straight and the eyes are proportioned. Very happy with our birds!
