The lion puppet is a big hit with our kids. It's well made, eyes are expessive, and size for adult hand is ample. I will probably order more for a special project.

Ok so I know these are supposed to be used as children entertainment.....but let me tell ya....if you have a critter with bitey teeth or claws.....this is a great way to interact with them. My kitten has a need to wrestle with other critters and this fits the bill...my hand and arm is protected and it's a great way to bond. I bought several of these years ago to play with a puppy because they feel the need to tussle and I needed to protect myself from puppy teeth and these became his favorite toys.

Our grandchildren are full of giggles and belly laughs when this lion “comes to life”.His mane is so fluffy and just needs a good shake to puff right out. The material is a great quality and very soft.He will feed their imaginations for a long time!

I was worried that the hair would be cheap and fall out. Especially on the lion. But he is gorgeous. Paws are detailed, mouth is detailed. Eyes have personality. Looks good from every angle, even the back. Better than expected. I will order another character soon!

This is just a beautiful puppet. His mouth is divided so that you can make his mouth open and close. My grandson is entranced with lions and he is really enjoying this lion (I make the lion talk and growl and my grandson is intrigued, he is 15 months). This was a hit!

I taught speech and acting at the secondary, college and university levels.I found Folkmanis puppets to be invaluable. It is quite true puppets really do help cure student shyness and vocal inhabitations.I used them in class at every level.I no longer have young children in the house. I use the puppets as decorations, especially at Christmas. The Christmas tree is surrounded with Folkmanis puppets.At Thanksgiving the Folkmanis turkey is always a table centerpiece.They are well made unique stuffed animals that bring a smile to even the most cynical adults.(Before purchasing visit the Folkmanis web sight to check prices.)

This is an excellent high quality puppet. Perfect blend of friendly looking face but realistically lion like too (unlike many of the chepare puppets available. On the expensive side but to my mind well worth the money. Worked exceedingly well in our Church puppet show.

I ordered this as a test case - I want to get several coordinated puppets. I am definitely getting more from this company in other animals. The lion is pretty cute, and it is extremely easy to use the arms/paws. Hard to use the mouth, but I am using this for toddlers who don't yet care about such things. Quality seems decent - it won't last forever, but hopefully we can get a couple good years out of it. Overall, very pleased with the purchase.

I bought this for my five month old grandson. I'm not sure who enjoys it more, my grandson or me. It's big, fluffy and very 'friendly looking'. The manufacturer, Folkmanis, has a number of helpful video on how to operate puppets if needed. I found it quite instinctive with the placement of my hand and fingers(My non-dominate hand works best!) My hands are BIG and are able to easily manipulate the toy, as can my other young grandchildren.Nice toy - great price
