This foot-pedal keeps the old SONY tape unit viable. The tape recorder needs the foot-pedal for transcription & this unit does the trick. It's great to keep an older, better built & reliable piece of electronics going! Great foot-pedal!

I love this foot pedal. So much better than the one that came with the unit. It is larger and sturdier with actual forward and reverse lever buttons that are large as compared to the original pedal where the entire side of the unit tilted. The only draw back is that it does not auto play the previous couple seconds when you stop and start. You actually have to rewind to pick up from where you stopped.
