So, I'm not a huge sock guy. Heck, I'm not even a huge shoe guy.. I tend to prefer to roam around barefoot, like the worlds largest hobbit, to tell the truth.However, we have a couple of cats that don't believe in keeping their dry food in their bowls, instead taking it upon themselves to hurt their food throughout the kitchen, during the night, like some maniacal toddler, leaving legos around the house.After saying 'Ow!!', so many time you'd think I was a pop star, my wife suggested I get a pair of socks to wear in the morning, to help reduce the impact of stepping on a hard piece of kibble, and somehow embedding it into the bottom of my feet. (I can somehow walk around, outside, on hot asphalt in the summer, with no issues.. but one little piece of hard kibble is all it takes to me having flashbacks of all of the toys that used to lay around the house, when our daughter was young... go figure)I spotted these out here, and decided to order them.They arrived a few days later, in a padded envelope. Taking them out, I immediately had a suspicion that my bigfoot sized feet (12-13) weren't going to fit properly in these things.Upon trying them on, my suspicions were realized... my feet were actually too big for these things. I mean.. I guess it'd be the right size, if they were supposed to be pantyhose.. but being that these are socks, I decided that I'd have to pass on them.I gave them to my wife.. who tried them on... commented that I stretched them out, so she washed them to shrink them...... only for her to not be able to find them, the next day, when she went to pull them out of the dryer.Turns out our college daughter opted to steal them from the dryer, and was now using them to lounge around the house in. Being that she and my wife have smaller feet than I do, the socks stretch to fit their feet properly (I believe they're both women's 7s)So.. while I'd LIKE to complain about the 'one size fits all' claim, I've learned awhile ago, that's not always accurate anyway... 'One size fits all NORMAL sized people... if you're the size of an ettin or troll, you may need a larger size'.*sigh*Still, my wife and daughter like them (and are actually playing a game of 'who can get them first, when they're done washing') , so that's good enough for me.Recommended.

I ordered the For Bare Feet Argyle Dress Socks for my husband in the Flyers design because he is a huge Flyers fan. The design is formal enough for him to wear the socks to work, which he does frequently. The colors are bright and the pattern is stylish and should appeal to many fans. The socks are comfortable and have a nice fit (he is a size 10). I recommend these socks for any NHL fan and think they would be a welcome gift.

The color was not real orange but more of a burnt sienna color. They are suitably dressy to wear with khakis and a nice loafer. They are the kind of sock your favorite Flyer fans could wear to a casual wedding or even a funeral.They are for sizes 6 to 12, but it would be a tight fit on the size 12 man. What's His Name is a Flyers fan with a size 13 foot and will not be comfortable wearing them unless I save them for his own funeral.The logo is sort of embroidered so won't detach after a few washings.
