I just quit trying to install on my new 2024 XR150L and will return. Like the design but brackets are welded on crooked. The hose clamp attachments need to be improved.

Fit is not the greatest, but it will work for me. I will be replacing the worm clamps with more suitable clamps such as u-bolts.

Doesn’t fit 2024 Honda XR 150. Will require bending lower attachment bars approximately half inch for each bar inwards to attach to bike. Did not return as we have the equipment required to bend the bars, and there are very few options available for the xr150. Would not recommend.

This looks great with a glossy black finish. It is installed with hardly any time. Fits just right and provides good protection.

Had to modify slightly! I'm sure these are made on a jig. Lower mounts werent aligned correctly and were slightly off. Had to bend right side slightly. Also the transition where the pipe is crushed that attaches to the frame with a hose clamp was correct either. Again slight modification with a ball end hammer made it fit perfect...

I really wish I would have taken a couple photos of how horribly this engine guard fits. It was cold and I just wanted to get it on. Other reviewers have written about how they brake the band clamps trying to install this. The manufacturer would have you trying to bring together the two bottom bars to fit against the bottom frame tubes of the bike. Sorry, not gonna happen. You would have to bend each one more than 3/4 of an inch towards the frame members. This engine guard must be made to fit a wide range of bikes, each with a different width frame. If you have an XR150, don't waste your time with this option. This one is going back.

Nice and sturdy construction. Prompt shipping and delivery. Looks great on my bike and fits quite well. My only small complaint is the hose clamps that come with it are not terribly strong. The engine guard is about 1/3 to 1/2 inch wider than the frame and the hose clamps need to pull it tightly to the frame. One of mine gave up the ghost before the guard was snugly against the frame. Not a big deal, since I can go to the hardware store to buy another, but it is inconvenient. Either better manufacturing QC to get the arms of the mount a little closer together or supplying sturdier clams would solve the issue.
